Game is live and I can get to the character select screen but can NOT create a character, and the offical forum is over loaded

I was able to get in about 25 mins after launch. I Played all day but started in Midway as did most of the rest of the server...so it seems... Crashed 12 times and Lag was so bad it forced me to leave/ discountinue doing missions and just mostly grind and gather outside the high traffic area. I hope it was due to alot of player being on the server because it was much worst than Beta. Anyway I am here to stay and really enjoy the game.
