Hey just read Heero's guide (nice guide btw) about character types, and it brings up the general question.. Do you know what your going to focus on?

It might be a good idea if you figure it out earlier then later heh. For example if there is only one person that is going to be a crafter then that is something that might be good to know heh Smile

Of course I don't mean this as what you say is what your locked into of course, but just a general idea for those who know. Smile

Myself I was thinking either Crafting/First Aid/Some Ranged, or just focus on making a Ranged/Something else heh Razz .. Either is fun so whatever works. afro

my first character is going to be maxed in crafting, first aid, and group tactics. with a minor in rifle and armor use.

I will be a Crafter/Rifleman. I will do Armour Ballistics and Science first, and given time I will have maxed all crafts. Maybe we should agree on who does what first so we don't have people doing the same thing at first?

Assuming I can get 1100 AP which by reading some of the guides seems very possable. I will have maxed all Stats apart from Chrasima, Strength and Willpower which will be at base. I will have maxed Armour Use Dodge and Rilfe and have 120 skill in First Aid. I will also have 116 skill in the 3 tech muts. This is subject to change as I have no idea at the moment if I will need to max out Armour use or not.

Good thing though to have multiple crafters, But another point is how are things going to be done storage wise? Are the non-crafters just going to drop all their mats into the guild vault and request stuff? There might already be something in place from the Open-Beta, but I only joined at the end so I did not catch it if there was (Although the vault was very full of Mats which was good heh affraid )

I am use to playing a game like Eve where Gather's and combat is very separated, but here it is going to mingle together a lot better so the crafters are going to need the stuff they craft too... I don't know just kinda speaking ideas here.


Edit: Is there a list some where of used components, as there is some things that are never used, and can just be sold to random vendor, but if I remember right still show under the components tab. (Chicken claw pops to mind as an example)

From my experence the things most needed will be scrap copper, lead, steel, weak bio and geo for makeing gunpower and ammo. Yes the clan vault can be used by anyone to drop stuff off for crafters to make things.
